While You Weren't Looking..

I have a number of passions in life, and each one drives me in different ways. For 31 years, (seriously) I've had a camera nearby.. and with each passing year my love of photography has grown. At this point in life, the love is so much so that I can virtually be awakened out of a deep sleep by my desire to get outside and start capturing images.

This morning was one of those mornings.

Originally, my intentions were to share images of Fall that I'd taken in Nederland some years back, ultimately planing on working on the House of 303 beauty box today. Well no.. my heart and mind were in cahoots with one another and had other plans for me..

... and I'm not upset about it at all.

The coolest day of our Fall season here in Denver thus far, and I could hardly get out the door fast enough with the Canon in tow, as I stopped briefly to enjoy a cuppa, then on my way to a nearby neighborhood that I knew held some of life's most beautiful trinkets of fall in its leaves.

Five years ago, I went to school to become a certified nurses assistant, and it was during this time of year that I noticed how beautiful the neighborhood that I was in while earning my license that Autumn was.

I've dubbed this post "While You Weren't Looking.." because in our day to day life, we sometimes fail to notice the beauty that is right in front of, or behind us. Although the morning was chilly in the 30's, I took my time to enjoy and appreciate all that Mother Nature has to offer us this fall season... Earth's Art.

I loved coming across the American flag in one photo, the Colorado State flag in another, as well as the stop signs. As I looked at those signs, it was simply like saying, "Hello.. stop.. take a moment to enjoy the beauty that's around you."

Stepping into Fall, plain and simple:)

No shortage of loveliness this morning. I took my time enjoying the beauty of Fall. It was like a morning at the museum, with a complementary showcase, courtesy of our Earth's Art.
